Lukas's house

Over the past week and a half I have gone riding a few more times. Yesterday I went to Lukas Cobian's house to ride. After days of raining, the track was pretty much fine! It was all nice and tilled thanks to Lukas and Cody. :) Shane was out with us too. I rode without my RXR for the first time in a couple years. I felt so vulnerable at first, but later on I felt normal. No doubt about it, I'm going to wear it again the next time I ride! Here are some pictures...

My dad and I have also gotten more work done on our van. It's coming out good! I'll be riding again on Wednesday. Should be fun! :)

Brrr

On Wednesday I went riding to Dan's house again. And the track was changed once more! At first I kept messing up on where everything goes, but by the end it was good. I rode for about 40 minutes because of the sun setting earlier. Before we got there that day, Shane Cobb's almost brand new bike with just 3.6 or 3.7 hours on it seized. Not good...

I was supposed to go racing to Sunset Ridge on Sunday, but it ended up getting canceled from all the rain we got last week. Instead of going racing or riding, my Dad and I continued our work on our Dodge Sprinter. We're finally getting the bed and walls in! But there's a lot of work left. This colder and colder temperature isn't helping us very well.

This weekend I also went to one of my sister's (Elis) soccer game! It was cold, but hot chocolate helped make it all better. :D Anyway, the game ended up tied 0-0. Elis almost scored a couple times. But it didn't happen. Also, she was goalie the second half of her game, and nobody scored on her! So it was pretty cool. The next morning she got up really early to go to two early morning games, which they tied 0-0 again.

Competition

Yesterday I went riding to Shane and Dan's house again. I got to see Shane Cobb's and James Hermes' new bikes. They look pretty sweet in my opinion! Anyway, my sister came out with us yesterday, too. She was having some fun with her XR100. Hitting the jumps doesn't really work out for her... haha. Yesterday I decided to try and get a video with James and Shane on it almost the whole time. I think it worked out well. Check it out!

Some new videos!

Today I posted some new helmet cam videos of me riding up on Youtube. It's so long that I had to divide it into three videos! Here's the first one.

To see the other two and other videos I have made, just go to http://www.youtube.com/motokid43 At that link there are also helmet cams of my races at Sunset Ridge and the Club 57 Challenge.

I think some of them are pretty interesting to watch!

First Blog!

This is the first blog I've ever done! This should be a good thing for me to keep doing. :)

Anyways, today was the Motocross des Nations. My dad and I got up at 6 to watch it all! But I have to admit, I was pretty much asleep during the whole first race. After 3 hours of staring at two computer screens, I was not expecting USA to take the trophy. But they did it somehow! That last crazy race really helped them out. Also, Estonia ended up in eighth place overall. That's better than last years tenth place!

Right after watching all that action, I went riding to my friend Dan's house. Today there was quite a few people there. I'm so glad! Otherwise the track wouldn't have dried out as well from all the rain we got this week! The track was slick at first, but by the middle of our riding it was perfect. It's so much fun doing whips over the step-up floater jump! One lap I tried doing a one footer with a whip off of it and flat landed so badly! But it's a small price to pay for all that fun. :) I also tried carrying more momentum through the turns today. I don't know if it worked, but it sure seemed like it. Hopefully my helmet cam will show me. I'm hoping to get that on the internet tomorrow.

Before my dad and I left for home, we loaded a fricken awesome 1929 car onto a trailer. So cool!
