Ice and dirt

Ice ice baby... do do dodododo do do... or more like ice and dirt! Yeah, I went riding in the snow at Dan's house again! This time I felt a lot better because there wasn't a layer of snow over the whole track. There was only ice on maybe half the track. My lap times were almost as fast as they were in the summer without snow. So I was pretty happy about that.

Two days later I went to another Club 57 school. I rode a 450 that day. The indoor track was pretty slick at first! Moisture on hard dirt isn't a very good combination... especially on a 450. I had one slide out learning experience. My arm's still feeling that one! But after that I tried being more careful and smooth. After some good timed sections and modules, I was pretty much totally used to the bike. Then I just started doing a bunch of smooth laps after the school. I ended up getting a fast lap of 48.8 seconds. My previous fastest was 51.5! Crazy! I think it's safe to say I like the 450.
